Willingness to serve as a Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion reflects not only response to your Baptismal call to serve the people of God, but a commitment to Christ. When you offer the Eucharist, recognize that you are offering The Body of Christ. When you offer the Chalice, recognize that you are offering The Blood of Christ. The willingness to commit to a monthly schedule, to prepare properly for your service and to arrive on time dressed appropriately for your assigned Mass, further reflects that commitment.

LECTOR
The ministry of the lector is vital to the life of our parish because it is through the lector that the Word of God is proclaimed. A love for the Scriptures is at the heart of the lector’s ministry. This is best exhibited in a lector’s study and practice in preparing to proclaim the word. It is also revealed in how the lector proclaims the Word at Mass.

USHERS
Ushers are a group of individuals whose goal is to exemplify and extend the hospitality of St. Peter Parish. They assist in finding a seat, help strangers and visitors feel welcomed, and support those who need assistance. Ushers also take up the collection during Mass.

Being a Altar Server is a true call to service by which your involvement betters and increases the saving message of our Lord Jesus Christ.
