We have unveiled a new event at St. Peter called “Nazareth”. Modeled on last year’s “Family Faith Formation,” Nazareth is an opportunity to gather as a parish mid-week for fellowship, catechesis, and prayer. All are welcome to come to any or all of the parts of Nazareth. Wednesdays 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Potluck Dinner: 6:00p.m.; Split into various groups: 6:30 to 7:30p.m.; Recitation of the Holy Rosary: 7:30 to 8:00p.m.
Beginning Sunday, September 29th through Monday, October 7th, 6:00 to 6:30 p.m., a Novena to Our Lady of the Rosary will be prayed in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. The Novena will conclude with Mass and a Rosary Procession on Monday, October 7th at 6:00 p.m.
The Fall Book Study will be reading Shakespeare's “King Lear“ along with viewing a film on the Life of St. Mother Teresa. The study runs Tuesday, October 15th through November 19th and takes place at 7:00 p.m. in the parish hall.
Please join fellow parishioners for Fr. Tomson’s Mass of Installation on Sunday, September 22nd at 10:30a.m., Bishop Thomas Daly presiding. This is a special day for our Parish and our new Pastor. It marks a new beginning for Fr. Tomson and the parish as well as a reminder of the bishop’s role as primary and chief shepherd of our souls. A special reception will follow in the Parish Hall.

In honor of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, there will be a holy hour of Eucharistic Adoration in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel on Wednesday, August 14th, the Vigil of the Solemnity, from 6:00 to 7:00p.m. All are welcome to attend!

The annual parish picnic/barbecue will follow the 4:30p.m. Vigil Mass on Saturday , August 24th. Hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks provided. For those interested in volunteering at the picnic there will be a meeting following 10:30 Mass on Sunday, August 4th in the Parish Hall.
There will be a Eucharistic holy hour to honor the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on Thursday, June 27th at 6:00 p.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. The intention of the holy hour is offered for Bishop Daly and the Priests of Spokane. “Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on us.”

Tenebrae, (Latin for darkness or shadows, the name given to the service of Matins and Lauds) belonging to the last three days preceding Easter, is celebrated in the hours of darkness in anticipation of the day to come. Please join Fr. Lewis and fellow parishioners for this profound and moving prayerful remembrance of our Savior’s death. This is a beautiful way to prepare for the Easter Triduum.
Divine Mercy Sunday~ Inaugurating a Parochial Year of Healing. Noon until 3:00p.m. Come, let us begin a Year of Healing with a special celebration of the source of all healing: the Divine Mercy of Jesus Christ. Eucharistic Adoration, Liturgy of the Word, Guest speakers for reflection talks, Rosary, Anointing of the Sick, Confession available, Concludes with Litany of Divine Mercy, Divine Mercy Chaplet and Benedictoin.
There will be a Lenten Penance Service on Thursday, April 11th at 1:30p.m. in the Church. Guest priests will be available to hear individual confessions.
St. Peter Parishes’ popular Fish Fry fundraiser is back and will be held Friday, April 12th following Stations of the Cross. Proceeds from the Fish Fry will benefit our parish Vocations Ministry efforts. Please find more information at the sign-up table in the Narthex.
